I really like "You Say Party! We Say Die!" I haven't had a chance to listen to all of the others yet, but I'll let you know when I do.
Other excellent Candian bands, little known in the United States, include the Tragically Hip, Pilate, Destroyer and Zampuro.

Aw, man, how can you not love The Hip?
One band I forgot to mention earlier was The Lowest of the Low. They're from southern Ontario, not too far from Buffalo, and were very popular locally when I was in high school and college. I don't know if they were ever popular enough to get radio time in prarie or western Canada.
